DD1HW8 - Chapter 14
Phillip's Law group
Memorandum
To: All Employees
From: Ionie Walker, Paralegal
Date: January 11, 2016
Subject: New rules regarding personal use of computers
As the new year begins, it is important to remind you all that there is a new rule in place about
using the work computers for personal use. Phillip's Law group will allow incidental use own employee's computers for their personal email or web surfing as needed for their job position.
However, if employees are engaged in personal web surfing for the majority of their day, that employee will be outside of the work policy.
Since there has been issues with employees spending too much of their time on their work computer for personal use, Phillip's Law group found it necessary to create this policy as many
other firms have before it.
Please come by the Phillip's Law group's main office on the 10th floor to receive any further
information about this policy. If there is any need for more detailed information there will also be a hand out in the office with more information on it.
Thanks.
cc. Alyssa Phillips, Name partner, Phillip's Law group
